Yes, SwitchRes is distributed as a 14 € shareware.
This means you can try the program without any limitation for a period of 10 days:
The distributed version is identical to the registered version.
After this 10-day period, if you want to continue to use it, you should register.
The preferences that you defined won't be loaded or saved any more.
You can use the unregistered version to see if you find SwitchRes useful.
When you register, the old preferences that you defined will be loaded again, and no annoying message will be displayed any more.
Registration

Registrations are handled by Kagi. SwitchRes is bundled with a Register application that you will use to generate a registration form to be mailed, e-mailed or faxed to Kagi. All instructions are given with the SwitchRes package.
You can also register online via the Kagi Online Store..
